With the proliferation of windows 7 and 8 mobile, the redesign of several windows background software, and the slow transition from several different versions of windows to one single windows that works on all devices, we usually couldn't find the time!

I am a big user of live tiles and i am aware that live tiles should be on screen at all times so that i can see what information they have to offer. However, i try to use my screen space wisely.

-Messaging: i'm good at sms. I'm aware of how the new year is somewhat unfortunately i prefer its convenient form of instant notification exchange such as whatsapp or skype. If i can, i prefer to text all my life if i try to call one. Sms is always present.Phone: standard built-in phone application. I don't make calls that often, but i feel like i need an app like this pinned to this home screen in case i need to make a call. Screen, and the calendar tab does just that. I rarely open the calendar app, this is definitely one of those cases in which the live tile will do absolutely everything i need.Microsoft edge: edge is the best way to browse online pages on a phone with windows dozens help i constantly use it myself platforms, reading news, watching videos and more. It syncs favorites across devices since version 10, and it's simple and easy to use.Windows store: the windows store is the home of modern purchasable content in the windows ecosystem. Whether it's apps, games, music, or movies/tv, i spend my entire life in the store hoping to find something new to spend my money on. I often find a movie or game that interests me.

Yes, i'm aware that there are much better third party twitter clients out there, but i like the simplicity of the official app. It's versatile and functions exactly like on a smartphone, similarly on smartphones and above, despite a lot of missteps and missing features, it gets the job done.Cortana. It's fixed for now, if i want to fiddle with one or two settings with notification sync, something else. I love the news ticker that appears on the active tile, and sometimes i open it to check reminders and make adjustments.Outlook mail. The built-in mail app is my mail shopper of choice in windows ten mobile. It does everything i need at one time or another, from robust live tile to application simplicity. I can easily enter my email accounts into outlook, google, hotmail, and more, and optionally set up pop-up notification banners for a number of accounts.Groupme: groupme is the most exciting group messaging add-on available in windows 10 mobile and i use it. Often with some from the windows central unit. It's perfect for teamwork, jokes, and easy sharing of contacts for tomorrow.Whatsapp beta: although i'm good at sms, i also need whatsapp. A lot of my personal friends are best dealt with via whatsapp, so i use that when i contact them. The beta version of the whatsapp application, however, is still software for windows 8.1, is developing quite successfully, constantly being updated with new features and changes. Slack: slack is the main talking point we use here in mobile nations. It's how i tell the team and how the team tells me. It's still in beta testing, but it's feature rich enough to be used here as one of the must-have apps on my phone.Groove music: groove is the best music streaming service available for windows 10 mobile. Of course there is pandora and spotify but our apps are not very good compared to groove which will probably be the best app readily available for windows 10 urgently. I have a subscription to groove music, and a lot of other music that i plan to listen to, is ready for a tv streaming program, from the service.

I like the windows central application, it is easy to process and is constantly updated with the latest articles immediately from our feed. The live tile is super customizable too!Weather: i live in the united kingdom so i need to know if it's cloudy or rainy. This is usually true, but sometimes this live tile shows a bit of sunshine and it makes me smile.Instagram: i'm not a heavy user of instagram, i usually only use it when i'm procrastinating. Maybe one day i'll be a celebrity on instagram.Trello central: we use trello to schedule articles here on mobile nations so it makes sense to me to have an app on this phone that allows me to jump in there and check things out. It's not a feature rich app at all due to it being a 3rd party app but it gets the job done.Uber: as a kid i wanted to have my own car all the time so i could go where i need to and if i need. However, lately all i need is an uber. Who needs to drive at a specified time when you can get someone else to drive for you?!
-Mytube beta: youtube has been in use for over a decade and especially since organization we upload all our stories - on youtube, for me it is necessary to have an application for this. I also enjoy watching content from let's players, vloggers, news outlets, etc.Skype preview: i use skype on a semi-regular basis, so the skype preview app is a godsend. While the skype preview app isn't the best and is still in preview, it's pretty good for what it provides and is constantly being improved. I would really like it to look pretty.Just eat: that speaks for itself. I need to eat, and this app gives me a chance to do so.Microsoft authenticator: i'm constantly logging into new gadgets, using my email or microsoft social network, and i always have to enter a long code to authenticate. . -I don't think zach mentioned what phone he uses. For most phones, the column limit is 3 if "show more tiles" is enabled. I think it's determined in the os by the resolution and screen size.

-I didn't understand what you mean. It applies "show more tiles". Having 3 middle columns is exactly what i have on my 950 with this option enabled. I would only have 2 columns (i.E. 1 large tile) without it
-I found this very interesting, thanks for sharing zach! I have and use some of the same non-system add-ons that you do. I agree that groupme is great. I also use slack, instagram and mytube beta (not beta though) and the weather is good too, especially now that the transparent tile option is at hand!

-Explain which one you have in mind. I didn't have any problems with the contacts add-on. In fact, skype even automatically added a phone for me, which saved me a lot of matchmaking.

-I think it's more related to the os itself. Many applications simply do not send notifications after the anniversary update.

On my audi. "Games" folder with 4 games where i like to play. Enpass - password keeper! Flight details is the best flight tracking app, without exception... For all airlines. Folder with all my office/ms applications - i really only use onenote and often excel or office lens, however everything is here manchester united application - all the latest news about them sports - for most etc (warrior hoops, giants baseball, etc.) E.) Touch / retouch is a great photo editing software. I use this to remove words and stuff from images where i just want a clean image. For example, i take a screenshot of the bing lock screen every day, and at the end i delete the words microsoft band - because i have it and i use it. Things on my home screen that i never use you can't justify having there anymore: keeper - old keeper pw netflix - don't use it enough nbc sports - don't use it. Fandango - happens once a month using shazam - hmm... Built into cortana spotify - i only use groove or pandora

- i used to have pandora on the start screen, but it wouldn't play more than one song before it got stuck on any of my w10 phones, which resulted in it being removed.

-I can understand this initial screen, but there are two steps. 1) the twitter app. We strongly encourage customers to take another look at tweetium. It also has a lightweight interface, but most importantly, it remembers where you left off. 2) skype preview. Why don't you use education as a mobile version for sms? I have done similarly that is able to bring pleasure to me and my wife. But maybe your experience is different...?
